📋 About the Role
Myntra, the flagship fashion and lifestyle brand of the Flipkart Group, has evolved from a niche customization startup in 2007 to one of India’s largest e‑commerce platforms. With a catalogue that spans apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products, the company blends cutting‑edge technology with creative merchandising to deliver a seamless shopping experience to millions of customers. Its data‑first mindset drives product decisions, inventory management, and personalized marketing, making analytics a core pillar of the business. The organization is known for its bold experimentation culture, rapid execution cycles, and a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and ownership is rewarded. Employees benefit from regular upskilling programs, mentorship, and a flexible work‑life balance that supports both personal and professional growth. The Data Analyst role in the Udaan 3.0 program is a six‑month paid initiative tailored for People with Disabilities. As a fresh graduate joining the activations team, you will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders—marketing, supply chain, finance—to translate raw data into actionable insights. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will involve extracting and cleaning large datasets using SQL, performing exploratory analysis to surface trends, and building Excel‑based reports and interactive dashboards that highlight key performance indicators. You will also support ad‑hoc projects, validate data quality, document analytical processes, and occasionally develop simple predictive models in Python. The role offers a solid foundation in data analytics while exposing you to real‑world business problems in a fast‑paced e‑commerce setting. Key responsibilities include: 1. Use SQL to extract, clean and transform large datasets from multiple sources. 2. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns and anomalies. 3. Build and maintain Excel‑based reports and interactive dashboards. 4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights. 5. Conduct data validation and quality checks. 6. Provide ad‑hoc analytical support for special projects. 7. Document analytical processes, assumptions and findings. 8. Participate in weekly knowledge‑sharing sessions. 9. Assist in developing simple predictive models using Python. 10. Stay updated with the latest tools and techniques in data analytics. Tech stack: SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Tableau/Power BI (basic), Python (pandas, numpy), Git for version control. Growth path: Successful interns can transition to full‑time Analyst roles, progress to Senior Analyst, Data Scientist, or Product Analytics Manager. Joining Myntra offers exposure to a high‑impact e‑commerce environment, mentorship from industry experts, and the chance to contribute to data‑driven decisions that shape millions of shoppers’ experiences.
