The Associate Software Engineer (ASE) role is designed for fresh graduates of the 2025 and 2026 batches who are eager to start their career in software development. As an ASE, you will be part of delivery teams that build, migrate and modernise applications for Accenture’s diverse client base. The role emphasizes application development, cloud migration initiatives and implementation of enterprise solutions such as SAP and Salesforce. You will get hands‑on exposure to the full software lifecycle – from requirement gathering and design to coding, testing and deployment – while collaborating with senior engineers, solution architects and business analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and deploy scalable software applications.
- Participate in cloud migration projects, moving legacy workloads to platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Contribute to the implementation and integration of SAP and Salesforce solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code using Java, Python or related languages.
- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
- Engage in code reviews and adopt best‑practice coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions and user guides.
- Interact with clients to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements.
Tech Stack: Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Microservices, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, SAP, Salesforce, SQL/NoSQL databases.
Growth Path: Starting as an ASE, you can progress to Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Solution Architect or specialize in niche domains such as Cloud Engineering, Data Analytics or Enterprise Applications.
