Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. The Finance Analyst role sits within the General Accounting function of CBRE’s Business Services Organisation. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the analyst will apply fundamental accounting principles to prepare, review and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Key responsibilities include: 1. Review and validate financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, cash‑flow statements, budgets and payroll records. 2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while maintaining an up‑to‑date general ledger and tax filings. 3. Prepare month‑end journal entries, reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and profit‑and‑loss statements. 4. Post transactions to the GL, analyse variances against budget and generate variance explanation reports. 5. Track accounts receivable, verify that all payments are recorded correctly and follow up on outstanding items. 6. Process billing and invoices, enter data into accounting systems and execute cash‑application activities. 7. Support internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations. 8. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve process efficiency. 9. Uphold CBRE’s RISE values by demonstrating professionalism, integrity and a proactive attitude. 10. Continuously develop technical skills and stay current with evolving accounting regulations. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, with up to three years of relevant experience (or an equivalent mix of education and work exposure). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel for data analysis—and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle are essential. Candidates should possess solid analytical abilities, intermediate mathematical skills, excellent organizational habits and a curious, problem‑solving mindset.
