📋 About the Role
NVIDIA is a global leader in artificial intelligence computing, graphics processing, and parallel computing. With a legacy of pioneering GPU technology, the company has expanded its influence across gaming, automotive, healthcare, data centers, and scientific research. NVIDIA’s culture is built on relentless innovation, collaboration across disciplines, and a commitment to solving some of the world’s most complex challenges. The organization invests heavily in research and development, offering employees access to cutting‑edge tools, world‑class mentorship, and the freedom to experiment with breakthrough ideas.
The N.Ex.T (NVIDIA Exceptional Talent) program is the fourth edition of an elite campus recruitment drive aimed at attracting the brightest engineering graduates in India. It is a full‑time New College Graduate (NCG) opportunity within NVIDIA’s Hardware Engineering group, designed to fast‑track fresh talent into roles that directly influence the design and development of next‑generation GPUs, AI accelerators, and system‑on‑chip solutions. Participants will experience a structured onboarding journey, mentorship from senior engineers, and exposure to real‑world projects that power products used by millions worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Contribute to the design, verification, and validation of hardware blocks for GPUs and AI processors.
2. Develop RTL code using Verilog/SystemVerilog and perform simulation‑based debugging.
3. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—software, firmware, and system architecture—to ensure seamless integration.
4. Participate in design reviews, provide technical feedback, and document engineering decisions.
5. Execute test plans, analyze silicon bring‑up data, and troubleshoot performance issues.
6. Optimize power, area, and timing metrics to meet product specifications.
7. Stay updated with emerging technologies such as advanced packaging, chiplet architectures, and high‑speed interfaces.
8. Contribute to the creation of reusable IP blocks and design methodologies.
9. Support the development of automation scripts and verification frameworks using Python or TCL.
10. Engage in continuous learning through internal training, hackathons, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
The technical stack revolves around digital design (Verilog/SystemVerilog), hardware description languages, EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys), scripting (Python, TCL), and a solid understanding of computer architecture, signal integrity, and low‑power design techniques. NVIDIA offers a clear growth path: from entry‑level engineer to senior engineer, principal engineer, and eventually technical leadership or product management roles, all backed by a culture that rewards curiosity, impact, and collaboration. Joining NVIDIA means working at the forefront of technology, contributing to products that shape the future of AI, gaming, and scientific discovery, while enjoying a supportive environment that values work‑life balance, diversity, and continuous personal development.
