The Database Support Engineer – Weekend role sits in the Technical Services team and is the frontline for customers who run critical workloads on Tiger Data’s cloud platform. Working a 4‑day, 10‑hour weekend shift (Friday‑Monday, 6 AM‑5 PM IST), you will troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, guide customers through TimescaleDB features such as hypertables, compression, and continuous aggregates, and bridge gaps between database internals, cloud infrastructure, and modern platform engineering. You will also partner with internal engineering, solutions, and delivery teams to accelerate issue resolution and feed real‑world insights back into product improvements. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Provide end‑to‑end technical support for customers facing PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB or platform‑related issues. 2. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance and documentation. 3. Analyse query execution plans, logs, and metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. 4.
