The Full‑stack Engineer role is designed for early‑career talent who can take ownership of end‑to‑end features, from UI design to backend services. You will be responsible for building responsive, user‑centric front‑end components using React and TypeScript, while also designing and implementing scalable Node.js APIs that power LinkedIn’s internal CMS and external product features. The position offers exposure to both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, CI/CD pipelines on AWS, and modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into high‑quality, maintainable code.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop responsive UI components with React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
3. Design database schemas and write optimized queries for SQL and NoSQL stores.
4. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute reusable libraries.
5. Write unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha) to ensure code reliability.
6. Implement CI/CD workflows on AWS, ensuring smooth deployments.
7. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior teammates.
8. Debug performance bottlenecks across the stack and propose improvements.
9. Collaborate with product and design teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
10. Stay updated with emerging technologies and share knowledge within the team.
Tech Stack: TypeScript, React (Next.js a plus), Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Git, Jest/Mocha, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
