The role of Data Analyst in the AI & Data team is a full‑time, flexible position based in Singapore. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business problems into data solutions. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, monitoring job performance, and staying up‑to‑date with emerging BI and data‑engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
2. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Qlik, or similar tools.
3. Write, optimise, and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
4. Build and fine‑tune data models within the chosen visualisation platform.
5. Perform end‑to‑end ETL processes for large, complex data sets from multiple source systems.
6. Implement data validation, testing, and governance controls to ensure data integrity.
7. Monitor, troubleshoot, and performance‑tune ETL jobs and data pipelines.
8. Document solutions, create user guides, and present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
9. Keep abreast of new technologies, tools, and industry trends in BI and data engineering.
10. Contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions and mentor junior team members.
Tech Stack: Azure Data Factory, SQL Server / Azure SQL, Power BI, Qlik, Azure Synapse, Python (optional for scripting), Git for version control, and data‑governance frameworks.
