📋 About the Role
Oracle is a global technology giant that has been shaping the enterprise software landscape for over four decades. Headquartered in the United States, Oracle operates in more than 175 countries and offers a broad portfolio that includes database solutions, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and enterprise applications. The company’s culture is built around innovation, customer obsession, and a relentless focus on delivering high‑performance solutions that enable businesses to transform and grow. With a strong emphasis on continuous learning, Oracle provides its employees with access to world‑class training, mentorship programs, and a collaborative environment that encourages experimentation and knowledge sharing. As a Developer (IC) in the Product Development team, you will be part of a fast‑moving, on‑shore/off‑shore hybrid delivery model. Your role will involve translating business requirements into clean, efficient code, building reusable components, and ensuring that the solutions you deliver are robust, scalable, and maintainable. You will work closely with senior architects, product managers, and operations teams to design end‑to‑end features, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to the evolution of coding standards and best practices across the organization. Key responsibilities include: 1. Write code, unit test cases, and algorithms to implement business requirements. 2. Collaborate with on‑shore development teams on design, implementation, and support of applications. 3. Analyse potential new functionality and help define detailed technical specifications. 4. Propose technical solutions to process issues in partnership with on‑site operations teams. 5. Provide technical and application‑related production support, including root‑cause analysis. 6. Review work done by peers, enforce coding standards, and enhance documentation. 7. Manage and deliver software modules/sub‑modules of moderate size within defined scope and timelines. 8. Drive knowledge‑transfer sessions and create comprehensive application documentation. 9. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. 10. Continuously explore emerging technologies to improve development efficiency. The tech stack for this role includes Angular (frontend), C# with .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and RESTful Web APIs. Strong command over JavaScript, as well as good interpersonal and leadership capabilities, are essential. Oracle offers a clear growth path – high‑performing developers can progress to Senior Developer, Tech Lead, and eventually Architecture roles, with regular performance reviews and opportunities to work on strategic, customer‑facing projects. Joining Oracle means exposure to cutting‑edge cloud technologies, a supportive learning ecosystem, and the chance to contribute to products that power some of the world’s largest enterprises.
