Key responsibilities include:
1. Understanding business and functional requirements and contributing to test planning activities.
2. Executing manual functional, regression, smoke and sanity tests.
3. Designing, maintaining and documenting detailed test cases and test scripts.
4. Developing and running automation scripts with Karate (API) and Playwright (UI).
5. Executing automated test suites, analyzing results and reporting defects.
6. Logging, tracking, retesting and closing defects using defect‑tracking tools.

Candidates with a foundational understanding of SDLC, STLC, test case design, defect lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies will thrive.
Growth at Sasken is structured and merit‑based. Fresh QA engineers can progress to Senior QA Engineer, QA Lead, Test Architect and eventually QA Manager roles, with opportunities to specialize in performance testing, security testing or DevOps integration.
