The Business Analyst / Consultant role in Hyderabad is an individual‑contributor position that blends project management rigor with deep business‑analytics expertise. Reporting to senior leadership, the incumbent will own the end‑to‑end delivery of data‑driven initiatives, act as a trusted advisor to business units, and ensure that analytical outputs translate into measurable business value. This hybrid role demands a strategic mindset, excellent stakeholder‑management skills and hands‑on experience with data‑visualisation tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead analytics and BI projects (Agile or Waterfall) from chartering to closure, defining scope, timelines and resource plans.
2. Create detailed project schedules, monitor milestones, and proactively mitigate risks.
3. Partner with business units to elicit requirements, translate complex problems into data‑centric solutions and advise on analytics‑driven decision making.
4. Oversee the full analytics lifecycle – data acquisition, cleansing, modelling, analysis and visualisation.
5. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams comprising data engineers, analysts, developers and business stakeholders.
6. Ensure data integrity and model accuracy by collaborating closely with data scientists and engineers.
7. Produce actionable insights and executive‑level dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
8. Champion data literacy across the organisation through workshops and mentorship.
9. Track project performance metrics and report status to senior leadership.
10. Foster a high‑performance, collaborative team culture and provide guidance to junior members.
**Tech Stack**: SQL, Tableau / Power BI / Looker, Jira/Asana, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), basic statistical tools, Excel, Python/R (optional for data manipulation).
