The Analyst – Payroll role sits within the Financial Services Group – Payroll and Personnel Solutions service line. The team supports Deloitte’s U.S. payroll operations, processing pay for more than 70,000 professionals on a bi‑weekly basis. As an Analyst, you will be the bridge between employees, HR, and the payroll engine, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Resolve payroll‑related queries from employees and HR partners across multiple states.
2. Coordinate benefits enrollment and changes for eligible employees, ensuring state‑specific compliance.
3. Execute employee life‑cycle transactions (on‑boarding, transfers, promotions, terminations) in SAP HR and related payroll systems.
4. Process salary continuations, sign‑on bonuses, employee loans, reimbursements, and other payroll adjustments.
5. Compute leave payouts for employees on leave of absence, adhering to strict deadlines.
6. Liaise with the HR Operations team and other payroll colleagues to schedule and execute batch runs.
7. Manage visa reverification statuses and related documentation.
8. Collect wage claims, process W‑2C and 221 corrections, and ensure data integrity.
9. Uphold PII and data‑privacy guidelines throughout all payroll activities.
10. Generate routine payroll reports and analytics for management review.
**Tech Stack**: SAP SuccessFactors/ SAP HR, Microsoft Excel (advanced), MS Word, PowerPoint, payroll processing tools, and basic knowledge of accounting packages.
