You will be responsible for verifying and reviewing updates received from seniors and payers, escalating contract issues and observations with the supervisor, reviewing payer contracts for accuracy and underpayment analysis by performing audits, providing reporting of payment variance reviews, analyzing data to find missed revenue opportunities, contacting payer and initiating request for payment (initiating appeal process) as suggested by the payer, performing appropriate follow-up with payer for payment, and meeting assigned productivity and quality assurance goals as established by department leadership.
