As a Manual Test Engineer you will be responsible for end‑to‑end validation of LG Soft’s TV, information display and monitor platforms, as well as certification testing for major broadcast service operators and content providers such as Tata Play, Airtel, Netflix, YouTube and Amazon. You will work closely with development, certification and product teams to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and compliance. Key responsibilities include: 1. Designing and executing manual test cases based on functional specifications and user stories. 2. Preparing test data, setting up test environments on Windows and Linux, and performing system‑level testing across hardware platforms. 3. Logging defects in standard tracking tools, tracking their lifecycle and verifying fixes. 4. Generating detailed test reports, execution summaries and quality status updates for stakeholders. 5. Conducting certification testing for broadcast operators and content providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards. 6. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to reproduce issues, analyse root causes and drive resolutions. 7. Maintaining adherence to LG Soft’s test processes, Agile/Scrum practices and quality standards. 8. Continuously learning new testing tools, automation basics (Selenium, Python scripting) and emerging technologies such as AI to improve testing efficiency. 9. Participating in knowledge‑sharing sessions and contributing to process improvement initiatives. 10. Supporting the documentation of test artefacts for audit and certification readiness. The technical stack primarily involves manual testing techniques, basic scripting in Python or Java, SQL for data validation, and familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux). Exposure to Agile methodologies, Selenium basics and cloud platforms (AWS) is advantageous.
