The Testing‑WAM (Workforce Automation & Management) Off‑Campus role is designed for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to start a career in software quality assurance. As a member of the Testing Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring that EY‑delivered applications meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, and security. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to design test strategies, execute test cases, and report defects, thereby contributing directly to the success of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and maintain functional, regression and integration test cases.
2. Execute manual and automated test scripts across web, mobile and API platforms.
3. Perform Business/User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client stakeholders.
4. Identify, log, track and verify resolution of defects using defect management tools.
5. Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and provide early feedback.
6. Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives following Agile methodology.
7. Contribute to test documentation including test plans, test summary reports and traceability matrices.
8. Support performance and security testing activities when required.
9. Continuously learn and adopt new testing tools and frameworks.
10. Uphold EY’s quality standards and compliance guidelines.
Tech Stack: Manual testing, Selenium/WebDriver, JIRA, HP ALM, SQL/Oracle for data validation, basic scripting in Java/Python/.Net, API testing with Postman or RestAssured, Agile/Scrum tools.
Growth Path: Freshers start as Testing Associates, progress to Senior Tester, Test Lead, and eventually Test Manager or Quality Assurance Architect. EY also offers rotational opportunities across domains such as Data & Analytics, Digital Technologies, and Cyber Security, enabling a broad skill set.
