Reporting to the Operations Head, the analyst will partner with servicing, underwriting, and claims teams to capture existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the policy administration and CRM platforms. This position demands a blend of analytical rigor, stakeholder management, and a solid grasp of insurance regulatory frameworks, especially IRDAI circulars. Key responsibilities include: 1. Conducting detailed process discovery sessions with servicing, underwriting and claims teams to document current end‑to‑end workflows and pain points. 2. Drafting comprehensive business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for enhancements to the policy administration system and CRM tools. 3. Building simple analytical models and interactive dashboards (using Tableau/Power BI) to monitor turnaround time, rework rates, and customer complaint trends, and presenting insights to senior leadership. 4. Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles, coordinating defect logging, prioritisation and closure with development and QA teams. 5. Preparing release notes, training guides and conducting knowledge‑transfer sessions for end‑users before each production rollout. 6. Ensuring all functional changes remain compliant with the latest IRDAI circulars and internal audit observations. 7. Collaborating with data engineering to extract, cleanse and analyse operational data for continuous improvement initiatives. 8. Supporting the creation of SOPs and process‑standardisation documents for future reference. 9. Monitoring post‑implementation performance and recommending iterative enhancements. 10. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
