The Data Analyst role sits within the Business Operations team, the connective tissue linking sales, product, tech support, finance and the merchants themselves. As an analyst you will be the go‑to person for onboarding new merchants, troubleshooting operational issues, and translating raw data into actionable insights for senior leadership. The position offers a blend of customer‑facing responsibilities and analytical work, giving freshers a holistic view of fintech operations. Key responsibilities include: 1. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to gather merchant requirements and configure accounts on internal and external systems. 2. Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding workflow, coordinating with Activations, Operations, Banking and Tech Support teams. 3. Resolve merchant queries related to order reconciliation, payment status tracking, and manual report generation. 4. Use Freshdesk to log, prioritize and close tickets while maintaining high customer‑centric standards. 5. Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Excel and basic SQL. 6. Identify recurring pain points and propose process automation or product enhancements. 7. Conduct regular follow‑ups with merchants to ensure satisfaction and drive upsell opportunities. 8. Liaise with Finance to verify transaction settlements and address any discrepancies. 9. Participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving the merchant experience. 10. Stay updated on Razorpay’s product suite, regulatory changes and industry trends. The tech stack for this role primarily includes Freshdesk, Microsoft Excel, basic SQL queries, and internal CRM platforms. Over the first two to three years, high performers can progress to Senior Analyst, Operations Manager, or even Product Owner roles, reflecting Razorpay’s fast‑track growth path for analytical talent.
