**Role Summary**
The Analyst will work across the full analytics lifecycle – from problem definition and data extraction to insight generation, storytelling, and recommendation delivery. You will partner with global market teams, translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, and provide executive‑ready insights that drive profitable growth for Amex merchants and partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Quickly grasp business problems, marketing objectives, data sources, and performance trends to produce actionable insights.
2. Own analytics, measurement, and reporting for target strategy, campaign performance, investment planning, and optimization.
3. Build audience, cohort, market, and segment‑level diagnostics to uncover opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business questions into structured analyses and clear, data‑driven recommendations.
5. Conduct campaign measurement, test‑and‑control analysis, performance tracking, and financial impact assessment.
6. Automate and streamline analytical processes to enhance scalability, consistency, and speed of insight delivery.
