📋 About the Role
Amazon is a global e‑commerce and technology leader that has reshaped how millions of customers shop, read, and consume digital content. In India, Amazon operates a vast network of fulfillment centers, logistics hubs, and development centers that power its marketplace, cloud services, and consumer devices. The company’s culture is built around customer obsession, innovation, and operational excellence, offering employees the chance to work on high‑impact projects that touch millions of lives every day.
The Last Mile Analytics & Quality (LMAQ) team sits at the heart of Amazon’s transportation ecosystem. It focuses on ensuring that every package reaches its destination accurately and on time by continuously improving address data, geocoding, route planning, and driver support processes. As a Quality Associate in this team, you will be the first line of defense for data integrity and operational smoothness, directly influencing the end‑customer experience.
In this role you will:
1. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform manual audits and resolve outliers or exceptions using internal tools.
2. Investigate images and videos from delivery operations and recommend corrective actions.
3. Listen to customer calls, transcribe relevant information, and resolve issues via email or chat.
4. Identify recurring patterns in audit data and suggest process improvements.
5. Provide timely updates to stakeholders while adhering to SLA commitments.
6. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate owners following predefined escalation matrices.
7. Maintain accurate records of daily activities in trackers or workflow management tools.
8. Meet and exceed business metrics such as productivity, quality, utilization, and SLA compliance.
9. Leverage performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
10. Collaborate across cross‑functional teams and adapt to multiple programs as business needs evolve.
Tech Stack & Tools: The role primarily uses Amazon’s proprietary data platforms, SQL for querying audit data, Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting, and internal ticketing and workflow tools. Familiarity with basic data visualization and scripting can be advantageous.
Growth Path: Starting as a Quality Associate, high performers can progress to Senior Quality Analyst, Operations Lead, or move laterally into data analytics, program management, or logistics engineering roles within Amazon’s vast ecosystem.
Why Join Amazon? You will work in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment where every improvement you make has a tangible impact on millions of customers. Amazon offers competitive compensation, world‑class learning resources, and a clear career ladder that rewards innovation and ownership. The rotational shift model also provides exposure to 24x7 operations, building a holistic understanding of end‑to‑end logistics.
Overall, this position is ideal for recent graduates with strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for solving real‑world operational challenges.
