As a Graduate HR Generalist, you will be the first point of contact for employees across the APAC region, handling everything from onboarding and benefits administration to compliance audits and global HR projects. You will partner with managers and executives to drive people strategy, ensuring that HR processes are efficient, compliant and aligned with Canonical’s global standards. Key responsibilities include: 1. Responding to employee queries regarding employment contracts, benefits, and global policies. 2. Maintaining the HRIS with accurate, timely data for all team member changes. 3. Leading global projects such as engagement initiatives, training programmes and culture building. 4. Supporting new hires through country‑specific onboarding, documentation and system set‑up. 5. Coordinating benefits enrollment and payroll processing, liaising with payroll teams. 6. Creating purchase orders for internal departments. 7. Conducting regular audits of employment files to ensure GDPR compliance. 8. Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices. 9. Managing travel arrangements for internal events up to four times a year. 10. Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR matters. Tech stack and tools you’ll work with include HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration tools like Slack and Teams.
