The role of Systems Engineer – EV is designed for 2025 engineering graduates who are eager to dive into the banking technology domain. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Finacle product team, contributing to delivery, testing, development and support activities. You will work closely with senior architects, product managers and client teams to customize and implement Finacle solutions for a diverse set of banking clients. The position follows a hybrid model, requiring three days a week on‑site at one of the four major development hubs – Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad or Pune. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications. 2. Develop, configure, and customize Finacle modules using Java, SQL and related technologies. 3. Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing to ensure high‑quality deliverables. 4. Execute functional, integration and regression testing in collaboration with QA teams. 5. Assist in deployment activities, including environment setup, data migration and post‑go‑live support. 6. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes and root‑cause analysis. 7. Contribute to documentation – design documents, test cases, user manuals and release notes. 8. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives. 9. Stay updated with the latest Finacle releases, banking regulations and emerging technologies. 10. Mentor junior peers and share knowledge through internal tech talks and code reviews. **Tech Stack**: Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, SQL/PLSQL, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, Finacle APIs. **Growth Path**: Freshers start as Systems Engineers and can progress to Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Product Manager within 3‑5 years based on performance and skill acquisition.
