The firm places a high value on diversity, inclusion and continuous learning, ensuring that every employee can grow both professionally and personally.
The Trade Lifecycle Analyst role sits within the Commercial & Investment Bank’s Trade Operations team. As a fresher analyst, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end pre‑ and post‑trade processes across all asset classes, with a special focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will work closely with front‑office traders, middle‑office partners and technology teams to ensure smooth settlement, resolve exceptions, and contribute to automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. The position offers exposure to a wide range of financial products, risk controls, and emerging technologies, making it an ideal launchpad for a career in capital markets operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute daily business‑as‑usual (BAU) tasks to maintain best‑in‑class trade processing standards.
2. Publish weekly KPI and KRI reports, investigate deviations, and drive corrective actions.
3. Manage trade exceptions from identification through resolution, ensuring timely closure.
4. Coordinate with associates and partner locations to maintain clear, regular communication.
5. Support audit reviews, internal checks and the preparation of Business Continuity Plans.
6. Conduct research on system enhancements and process improvements.
7. Explain product features and benefits to internal stakeholders as needed.
8. Contribute to automation projects using VBA and other scripting tools.
9. Participate in risk and quality assessments, flagging potential issues early.
10. Assist the manager in stakeholder management and reporting.
Tech Stack & Tools: Excel (advanced), VBA for automation, SQL for data extraction, Bloomberg/Reuters terminals for market data, internal trade management systems, and basic knowledge of Python or R is advantageous.
Growth Path: Successful analysts can progress to Senior Analyst, Trade Operations Manager, or specialize further into Product Control, Risk Management, or Technology Enablement roles within the bank’s global operations network.
Why Join JPMorgan Chase? The firm offers a structured onboarding program, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and exposure to global markets. Employees benefit from competitive compensation, robust learning platforms, and a culture that encourages innovation and collaboration. Joining the Trade Lifecycle team provides a solid foundation in capital markets, opening doors to diverse career trajectories across finance and technology.
