The Foundational Engineer role is positioned within the Camera Domain team of the automotive infotainment and cluster division. As an entry‑level software engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance C++ code that powers camera‑related features in modern vehicles. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—hardware, firmware, system integration, and global product groups—to translate requirements into robust software components. The position offers a hybrid work model, with three days a week on‑site at the Pune campus, providing exposure to both collaborative in‑person sessions and focused remote development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop, test, and debug C++ applications for camera and infotainment systems on Linux platforms. 2. Participate in requirement analysis, creating detailed software design documents and interface specifications. 3. Implement multi‑threaded modules, ensuring optimal memory management and performance. 4. Write unit tests using frameworks such as Google Test and maintain high code coverage. 5. Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate features across domains and resolve cross‑functional issues. 6. Track and mitigate technical risks early, documenting dependencies and mitigation strategies. 7. Respond to customer queries, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance. 8.
