The Banking Operation Analyst role sits within the Credit Card Operations department, specifically the Joint Recovery Processing / Chargeback Analyst team. Reporting to the Supervisor of Joint Recovery Processing, the analyst will be responsible for handling fraud investigations, dispute resolution, and the full chargeback lifecycle for credit‑card transactions. The position demands a blend of analytical rigor, knowledge of card association rules, and strong communication skills in both French and English. Working on a rotational evening shift, the analyst will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, merchants, and law‑enforcement agencies to safeguard the financial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and process fraud and dispute cases using the TDR case management system, ensuring service‑level targets are met. 2. Manage the end‑to‑end chargeback process across first, second, and third cycles, including retrieval requests and merchant representments. 3. Conduct proactive fraud investigations, identify emerging trends, and prepare detailed reports for senior management. 4. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of card association regulations and PCI compliance standards. 5. Communicate effectively with cardholders to verify transactions and gather supporting documentation. 6. Mentor new hires on chargeback procedures, system navigation, and best practices. 7. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements and handle escalations. 8.
