The Business Operations team acts as the connective tissue between sales, product, tech support, finance and the merchants themselves. As an Analyst in this team you will be the go‑to person for onboarding new merchants, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring seamless coordination across multiple internal stakeholders. You will own end‑to‑end communication with merchants, help them reconcile orders, generate manual reports and track payment statuses, while also feeding insights back to product and finance for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include: 1. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to gather merchant requirements and configure accounts on internal and external systems. 2. Manage the onboarding workflow, coordinating with Activations, Operations, Banking and Tech Support teams. 3. Resolve merchant queries related to order reconciliation, payment status tracking, and manual report generation. 4. Use Freshdesk to log, prioritize and close tickets while maintaining high customer‑centric standards. 5. Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports for senior leadership. 6. Identify recurring pain points and propose process automation or product enhancements. 7. Conduct regular follow‑ups with merchants to ensure satisfaction and drive upsell opportunities. 8. Liaise with Finance to verify transaction settlements and address any discrepancies. 9. Participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving the merchant experience. 10. Stay updated on Razorpay’s product suite, regulatory changes and industry trends. The role primarily uses tools such as Freshdesk, Excel, SQL (basic), and internal CRM platforms.
