The Operations Support (Apprenticeship -12 months) role is an entry-level position that provides an opportunity to learn and grow within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations and administration of capital account transactions and queries, regulatory filings, RBI liaison, customer and business engagement, and other tasks. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting daily operations and administration of capital account transactions and queries
- Ensuring proper mailbox monitoring and timely responses to avoid any escalations
- Well-versed with using Powerpoint, Excel, PowerBI, and other tools for extracting data for senior management MIS
- Coordinating with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned activities
- Supporting automation activities within the team
- Maintaining HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Implementing the group compliance policy as applicable to the role
