Over a six‑month period, the intern will work closely with the HR Operations team, assisting in day‑to‑day administrative tasks, employee onboarding, data management, and process improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include: 1. Supporting the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new hires, including documentation verification and system entry. 2. Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System). 3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly payroll inputs and benefits administration. 4. Coordinating with the Operations team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, and professional tax. 5. Helping organize employee engagement activities, town‑halls, and training sessions. 6. Responding to employee queries related to HR policies, leave balances, and documentation. 7. Conducting periodic audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and completeness. 8. Contributing to process documentation and SOP creation for continuous improvement. 9. Supporting the HR team in preparing reports and dashboards for senior leadership. 10. Assisting in the execution of exit formalities and off‑boarding procedures. The tech stack for this internship primarily revolves around HR‑specific software such as SAP SuccessFactors, Zoho People, or internal custom HRIS platforms, complemented by strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and basic data visualization tools like Power BI. While coding is not a core requirement, familiarity with basic SQL queries can be advantageous for data extraction tasks.
