The Analyst role in the Technology Consulting – Financial Services (FS) – Capital Markets, Banking & Securities (CNS) – Technology Strategy & Transformation practice is an entry‑level position designed for fresh graduates with a passion for technology and problem‑solving. As an Analyst, you will be embedded within client engagement teams, supporting senior consultants and managers in delivering end‑to‑end technology solutions. You will get exposure to SAP implementation, application development, and strategic technology advisory, while learning the consulting methodology that EY follows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and customise applications based on detailed technical specifications and process documentation.
2. Assist in the design, build, test and deployment of SAP modules as part of client transformation projects.
3. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with client stakeholders and translate business needs into functional specifications.
4. Perform unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
5. Prepare technical artefacts such as data flow diagrams, system design documents and test cases.
6. Support senior team members in creating presentations, reports and solution road‑maps for client meetings.
7. Analyse existing client systems, identify gaps and propose improvement recommendations.
8. Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, workshops and internal training to continuously upgrade technical and consulting skills.
9. Contribute to documentation of best practices, reusable assets and templates for future engagements.
10. Maintain clear communication with cross‑functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
Tech Stack & Tools: Java / Python (or any OOP language), SAP ABAP/ SAP Fiori, SQL, REST APIs, Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft Office suite, and basic exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is advantageous.
