The Account Manager – Commercial Sales role is a strategic, customer‑facing position focused on owning, retaining and expanding a portfolio of high‑value accounts. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will partner with engineering‑led organisations, understand their testing needs and drive multi‑product adoption across usage, teams and product lines. The role blends relationship management, data‑driven expansion tactics and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver predictable revenue growth and long‑term customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own a defined book of strategic accounts, ensuring revenue growth and high renewal rates.
- Identify upsell, cross‑sell and expansion opportunities using usage analytics, customer maturity and business goals.
- Conduct regular on‑site and virtual meetings with engineering leaders, technical users and economic buyers.
- Build trusted relationships with both technical and executive stakeholders, positioning BrowserStack as a strategic partner.
- Drive renewal excellence by reinforcing value, ROI and outcomes well before contract milestones.
- Proactively flag and mitigate renewal or contraction risks in partnership with internal teams.
- Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene for accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Collaborate with product, customer success and support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Prepare and present business reviews, adoption metrics and growth plans to senior leadership.
- Stay updated on SaaS testing trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies to inform account strategies.
Tech Stack & Tools: SaaS testing platform, cloud infrastructure, AI‑enabled testing modules, Salesforce, G‑Suite, video‑conferencing tools, data‑analytics dashboards.
Growth Path: Successful Account Managers can progress to Senior Account Manager, Strategic Account Director, or move into Product Marketing, Customer Success Leadership or Sales Enablement roles within BrowserStack’s global organisation.
