The analyst will be the first line of defence, continuously monitoring alerts, hunting threats, and ensuring that incident response playbooks are executed flawlessly. Working in rotational shifts, the analyst will interact with senior security engineers, client stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to maintain a resilient security posture. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Monitor, analyse and escalate SIEM alerts from Azure Sentinel, RSA, Splunk or LogRhythm based on correlation rules. 2. Perform malware analysis and triage email protection alerts, including phishing investigations for major financial institutions. 3. Contribute to proactive content fine‑tuning, creating new use‑cases and updating detection rules. 4. Conduct active threat hunting on network flow data, user‑behaviour analytics and threat‑intel feeds. 5. Raise and track incidents in the Pastebin integration platform, ensuring accurate documentation. 6. Follow incident‑response playbooks, perform log comprehension (HTTP, SMTP, network) under guidance, and assist in root‑cause analysis. 7. Record process deviations in tracking tools, generate trend reports and recommend process improvements. 8. Support quality‑assessment activities across multiple SOC verticals and act as a QA touch‑point during critical cyber incidents. 9. Prepare investigation reports with evidences, assertions and recommended remediation steps. 10.
