The role of IT Trainee – Industrial Solutions (ISOL) is a structured, rotational program within Magna’s IT division. As a trainee, you will rotate across multiple sub‑teams such as SAP, Data Interchange & Development (EDI), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This exposure enables you to understand the end‑to‑end landscape of enterprise applications that support Magna’s manufacturing and supply‑chain operations. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, handling real‑world incidents, supporting users, and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of critical business applications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administer, support and maintain business applications across ISOL sub‑towers. 2. Provide 1st and 2nd level user support, logging and resolving incidents promptly. 3. Analyse malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with 3rd level support for complex problems. 4. Manage ticket queues, prioritize work based on impact analysis and service level agreements. 5. Perform master data administration and ensure data integrity. 6. Create and update technical documentation and internal knowledge bases. 7. Assist in application testing, including functional, regression and user‑acceptance testing. 8. Participate in periodic system audits and compliance checks. 9. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements. 10. Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies and best practices relevant to SAP, EDI and MES environments. Tech Stack & Tools: SAP ERP modules, EDI platforms, MES solutions, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow), basic scripting for automation, and exposure to SQL databases.
