The Trainee role sits within the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Organization vertical. As a fresh graduate, you will be immersed in the day‑to‑day operations of the mobility and compensation management function, supporting both internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will gain exposure to cross‑border employee assignments, tax and immigration compliance, and the intricacies of expatriate payroll. The position is designed as a launchpad for a career in HR operations, compliance, and global mobility, with clear pathways to senior analyst or specialist roles.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Monitor business travelers and ensure compliance with mobility policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Identify and flag potential compliance or risk issues related to tax, immigration, and employment law.
3. Manage the end‑to‑end in‑house compensation process for globally mobile employees, aggregating payroll and non‑payroll components.
4. Liaise with relocation and tax vendors to validate compensation data and ensure seamless hand‑over to payroll.
5. Prepare monthly and year‑end compensation reports and generate accurate payroll instructions within stipulated cut‑offs.
6. Maintain and update the Assignment Management Tool (AMT) database to guarantee data integrity.
7. Generate, review, and archive assignment documentation in line with audit standards.
8. Collaborate with case managers to continuously improve operational processes.
9. Support cross‑functional teams across geographies through effective communication and documentation.
10. Uphold confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
**Tech Stack & Tools**: Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), Word, PowerPoint, SAP SuccessFactors, Assignment Management Tool, basic knowledge of tax and immigration portals.
