The Graduate Apprentice Trainee program is a year‑long, paid apprenticeship under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). It is designed for recent graduates who want hands‑on exposure to the marketing function of a multinational corporation. Trainees will rotate across core marketing activities, learning how strategic plans are translated into campaigns, how data drives decisions, and how brand narratives are built for a global audience. The role serves as a launchpad for a career in brand management, digital marketing, market research, or communications within Volvo or its partner companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in formulating and executing integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
2. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, launch, and monitor multi‑channel campaigns (social, email, print, events).
3. Conduct primary and secondary market research, compiling qualitative and quantitative insights.
4. Support daily administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
5. Create copy, visual assets, and video snippets for various marketing channels using tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Premiere.
6. Analyse consumer behaviour metrics and recommend optimisation tactics.
7. Help organise webinars, trade shows, and product launch events.
8. Learn and operate CRM, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other marketing automation platforms.
9. Track competitor activities and prepare periodic intelligence briefs.
10. Gather customer feedback and feed it back to product and communication teams.
Tech Stack: MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot), Google Analytics, Google Ads, Social Media Management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer), Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere.
Growth Path: Successful apprentices are eligible for full‑time roles such as Marketing Executive, Brand Associate, or Digital Marketing Analyst.
