The role of Analyst, Financial Reporting sits within the Corporate Sector’s Controller business unit and is a pivotal part of the external reporting function. As an analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s financial statements and regulatory filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with both internal policies and external regulations such as SEC and RBI requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop deep expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and data‑driven decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Apply up‑to‑date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting.
2. Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform quarter‑over‑quarter variance analytics.
3. Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, regulatory controllers, and SEC reporting teams.
4. Assist in thorough assessment of reporting issues and outcomes, providing clear communication to stakeholders.
5. Participate in the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual reports for regulatory agencies.
