The Associate SW Development Engineer will join the Broadband Devices Team, a high‑impact group responsible for shaping the next generation of multigigabit connectivity. This role is ideal for fresh engineering graduates who are eager to work on embedded systems, collaborate closely with hardware teams, and solve complex networking challenges. You will be part of a hybrid setup, spending 3‑4 days a week at the Bangalore office, and will get exposure to real‑world production systems used by leading operators across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Key responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and integrate software features for embedded broadband devices. 2. Debug and resolve cross‑layer system issues reported by QA and customers, performing root‑cause analysis. 3. Implement long‑term corrective and preventive solutions to improve product stability. 4. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless firmware‑hardware interaction. 5. Write clean, maintainable C/C++ code following industry best practices. 6. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration pipelines. 7. Contribute to documentation of design specifications and troubleshooting guides. 8. Assist in performance profiling and optimization of networking stacks. 9. Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, Perl) for automation and testing. 10.
