As an Associate Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will join the Backend team and work on building and maintaining connectors that pull data from various SaaS applications. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing new connectors, debugging and optimizing existing ones, and contributing to the development of internal tools that leverage AI to empower business users. You will also help design and expose simple REST API endpoints, ensuring clean code, thorough testing, and efficient performance. Key responsibilities: 1. Design and implement SaaS connectors for new and existing applications. 2. Write clean, maintainable Java/TypeScript/Python code following OOP principles. 3. Build and expose REST APIs for internal and external use. 4. Debug, profile, and optimize data pipeline components for speed and reliability. 5. Write unit and integration tests to guarantee quality. 6. Collaborate with product and data teams to understand feature requirements. 7. Document code, APIs, and connector usage guidelines. 8. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions. 9. Explore and prototype AI‑driven internal tools. 10. Continuously learn about concurrency, performance tuning, and new data sources. Tech stack: Java, TypeScript, Python, RESTful services, JSON, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. Growth path: Freshers start as Associate SDEs, progressing to SDE I, SDE II, and Senior SDE roles while taking on larger, more complex connectors and architectural responsibilities.
