The role of UI Engineer / Front End Engineer – Specialist sits within PwC’s Software and Product Innovation practice. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and maintaining user interfaces using React Native, SwiftUI and related modern frameworks.
2. Implementing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
3. Collaborating with business analysts and product owners to gather and refine requirements.
4. Conducting thorough code reviews and enforcing coding standards for quality and consistency.
5. Debugging and troubleshooting front‑end issues to enhance user experience.
6. Designing and integrating RESTful APIs and micro‑services for seamless data flow.
7. Writing clean, reusable code in JavaScript, Python and Kotlin.
8. Participating in functional and performance testing to validate application behavior.
9. Contributing to enterprise architecture discussions and integration strategies.
10. Applying object‑oriented design principles to build maintainable systems.
Tech stack: React Native, SwiftUI, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Git, Jenkins/Bitbucket pipelines, Docker, RESTful APIs, Micro‑services, ATDD, CI/CD tools.
