The role of Associate Software Engineer sits within the Automation Center of Excellence (CoE), a specialised team that builds intelligent automation and AI‑enabled solutions to streamline business processes. Reporting to senior automation architects, the associate will work on end‑to‑end automation projects, leveraging low‑code platforms like Power Platform, data‑flow tools such as KNIME, and AI assistants like Copilot Studio. The position operates on a 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST shift, providing exposure to global delivery cycles and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and KNIME.
2. Build reusable components and contribute to shared accelerator libraries for the CoE.
3. Analyse business processes, identify automation opportunities, and create scalable technical solutions.
4. Integrate solutions with REST APIs, handling authentication via OAuth and other industry‑standard patterns.
5. Employ AI‑first techniques—using Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot—for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
6. Produce comprehensive technical documentation and support deployment activities.
7. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, including incident triage, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
8. Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, scalability, and quality benchmarks.
9. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
10. Experiment with emerging automation and AI technologies to drive continuous improvement.
