The role of Associate I – Data Analyst (Onboarding and Event Management) sits within UST’s Data team and is primarily responsible for ensuring that all client‑facing investment data – accounts, mandates, portfolios and related operational parameters – are accurately created, maintained and reconciled across multiple platforms such as Aladdin, IRIS and other proprietary business data masters. The analyst will act as a bridge between the asset‑management business side and the technology platforms, performing data‑quality checks, handling onboarding/off‑boarding events, configuring trade‑delivery settings and escalating any anomalies to senior team members. Key Responsibilities: 1. Set up and maintain mandates, portfolios and related items in Aladdin, IRIS and other client data masters. 2. Close mandates and portfolios as per business requirements. 3. Conduct quality‑assurance checks to ensure data consistency across platforms. 4. Configure and maintain pay‑away brokers, credit‑risk counterparties and custodians. 5. Review and resolve data‑quality control exceptions. 6. Uphold data‑governance principles and maintain accounting data in Aladdin. 7. Manage trade‑delivery configuration and settlement instruction setup. 8. Generate and maintain third‑party reports and cash‑flow notifications. 9. Escalate critical issues promptly to the Team Leader. 10. Continuously identify data anomalies and suggest corrective actions. Tech Stack & Tools: Aladdin, IRIS, SQL, Excel, data‑governance tools, basic scripting (Python/PowerShell) for automation, and ticketing systems for issue tracking.
