Reporting to the QA Lead, the candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright, while also creating test suites that validate Modbus RTU/TCP communication between devices, controllers, gateways and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement reusable automation libraries in Python for functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing. 2. Create and execute test cases for Modbus RTU/TCP protocols, simulating real‑world industrial scenarios. 4. Perform API testing using REST principles, validating request/response payloads, authentication and error handling. 5. Analyse test results, triage failures, log defects in the tracking system and work closely with developers to resolve issues. 6. Maintain test execution dashboards, quality metrics and periodic test reports for stakeholders. 7. Participate in code reviews of test scripts to ensure maintainability and adherence to best practices. 8. Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to set up test environments and integrate hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing. 9.
