The position involves preparing and managing production plans and schedules according to customer delivery commitments, coordinating with Procurement, Production, Stores, Engineering, and Quality teams, monitoring production progress and identifying bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to achieve production targets, performing material and capacity planning using ERP/MRP systems, maintaining optimal inventory levels, analyzing machine, manpower, and resource capacity, monitoring raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory, tracking production KPIs and preparing planning reports, prioritizing production activities according to delivery commitments, monitoring daily production progress against the production plan, maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing in ERP systems, identifying opportunities to improve planning accuracy and production efficiency, supporting Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives, preparing daily and monthly production reports, analyzing production variances, bottlenecks, and resource utilization, planning fabrication, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and testing activities, coordinating long lead-time materials including motors, gearboxes, wire ropes, electrical panels, and structural steel, helping ensure project timelines are maintained for cranes and customized lifting equipment. The role also involves production planning and control, material requirement planning, inventory management, and coordination with multiple manufacturing functions.
