The IT Trainee – Industrial Solutions role is positioned within Magna’s IT sub‑tower (MIT) and offers a unique rotational experience across SAP, EDI and MES teams. As a trainee, you will be immersed in real‑world business applications, providing first‑ and second‑level support, handling incident tickets, and contributing to master‑data administration. The role is designed to build a solid foundation in enterprise resource planning, data interchange, and manufacturing execution systems, while sharpening analytical and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administer, support and maintain business applications used by ISOL sub‑tower teams. 2. Provide 1st and 2nd level user support, logging and resolving incidents promptly. 3. Analyse malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with 3rd level support for complex problems. 4. Manage ticket queues, prioritize work based on impact analysis and service level agreements. 5. Perform master‑data administration and ensure data integrity across SAP/EDI/MES platforms. 6. Create and update technical documentation and internal knowledge bases. 7. Assist in application testing, including functional, regression and user‑acceptance testing. 8. Participate in periodic system audits and compliance checks. 9. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify process improvements. 10. Support onboarding of new users and conduct basic training sessions. Tech Stack: SAP ERP modules, EDI tools, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), basic SQL, and exposure to scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
