DATA ANALYST (INTERN)

Preference given to candidates specializing in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics or related fields. Applicants should be from the 2026 batch (or graduating in 2026) and be available for the full 75‑day internship period. Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA or Looker Studio is an added advantage. Candidates must be Indian citizens and possess a valid ID proof.

Round 1: Online Application Screening → Round 2: Written Aptitude & Technical Test (Excel, SQL, Data Interpretation) → Round 3: Technical Interview (case studies, dashboard creation) → Round 4: HR Interview (fitment, communication skills)

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, ensuring data quality, documentation, and timely delivery of visual reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Gather and preprocess large military datasets ensuring accuracy and completeness. 2. Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation using Advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, Dynamic Arrays). 3. Build interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI, highlighting key performance indicators. 4. Create advanced visualisations and story‑telling dashboards using Tableau (preferred). 5. Write SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. 6. Automate recurring reports through VBA macros or Looker Studio integrations. 7. Identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights, presenting findings to senior officers. 8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and version control. 9. Collaborate with domain experts, IT, and operational teams to align analytics with mission objectives. 10. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security protocols. Tech Stack: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, VBA, Looker Studio, Git for version control.
