The analyst will be responsible for end‑to‑end data sourcing, transformation, quality assurance and the creation of next‑generation data products that enable data‑driven decision making across the bank. Key responsibilities include: 1. Establish and monitor BAU controls for data quality and governance within the Global Business Services (GBS) framework. 2. Collaborate with partner teams to design and build data products and analytics solutions that meet evolving risk management needs. 3. Analyse problem statements, propose data‑centric solutions and prototype them in coordination with ERM stakeholders. 4. Conduct rigorous validation and data‑quality checks to ensure the reliability of delivered analytics. 5. Work closely with Risk Reporting, Stress Testing, IFRS‑9 and Credit Risk Modelling teams to leverage existing analytics and streamline processes. 6. Lead the migration of proof‑of‑concept projects into production‑grade pipelines, ensuring scalability and maintainability. 7. Champion the bank’s culture and values, acting as a role model for ethical conduct and teamwork. 8. Identify, assess and mitigate data‑related risks, ensuring compliance with BCBS‑239 standards. 9. Provide timely, high‑quality responses to internal and external data queries. 10. Maintain documentation and knowledge‑sharing artifacts for continuous improvement. The technical stack for this role includes Python, SQL, SAS, advanced Excel automation, Tableau for visualisation, and exposure to machine‑learning frameworks.
