Software Test Engineer I

The interview process typically consists of three rounds: a technical interview, a behavioral interview, and an HR interview. The technical interview assesses your technical skills and knowledge, while the behavioral interview evaluates your past experiences and behaviors. Bachelor's Degree required, 0-2 experience. Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or related field. ISTQB or equivalent software testing certifications preferred.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies - Ensuring our software meets the highest quality standards - Contributing to the development of advanced products that support scientific research - Working on mass spectrometry instruments and laboratory automation systems - Collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality software solutions - Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test protocols - Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, TestComplete, JUnit) - Expertise in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test protocols - Experience with defect tracking and test management systems (JIRA, TestRail, ALM) - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) - Knowledge of performance and API testing - Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams - Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements - Experience with laboratory equipment testing is a plus We are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive work environment, where everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
