GlobalFoundries is a leading semiconductor foundry that partners with technology innovators worldwide to design and manufacture advanced chips. With fabs in the United States, Germany and Singapore, the company employs over 15,000 professionals and focuses on delivering high‑performance, cost‑effective silicon solutions. Its culture emphasizes safety, collaboration, and continuous learning, making it a preferred employer for engineering and finance talent alike.
The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst role in Bangalore is a gateway for fresh graduates and early‑career professionals to dive deep into finance operations of a global technology powerhouse. As an AP Analyst, you will become the financial liaison between GlobalFoundries and its extensive vendor ecosystem, ensuring that every invoice is accurately recorded, validated, and paid on time. You will work closely with Procurement, Receiving, and the broader Finance team, gaining exposure to end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash cycles and SAP ERP functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process vendor invoices and credit memos in SAP, ensuring correct coding and documentation.
2. Perform 2‑way and 3‑way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice) to validate pricing, quantity, and tax details.
3. Resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with Procurement and Receiving teams.
4. Respond to vendor queries regarding invoice status and payment schedules.
5. Assist in the preparation and execution of payment runs, including electronic transfers and checks.
6. Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
7. Support month‑end closing activities, AP aging analysis, and reconciliation of vendor statements.
8. Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives, suggesting automation or workflow enhancements.
9. Participate in training programs and knowledge‑sharing sessions for the AP community.
10. Generate regular reports for senior finance leadership on AP metrics and cash flow impact.
Tech Stack & Tools: SAP S/4HANA (or SAP ECC), Microsoft Excel (advanced functions & pivot tables), Power BI for reporting, and basic familiarity with ERP integration tools.
Growth Path: Starting as an AP Analyst, high performers can progress to Senior Analyst, AP Team Lead, or move laterally into broader Finance roles such as Treasury, Cost Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis. GlobalFoundries encourages certifications (e.g., SAP FI, CPA) and offers internal mobility across its global network.
Why Join GlobalFoundries? You will be part of a cutting‑edge semiconductor ecosystem, gain hands‑on experience with SAP, and work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and employee development. The role offers a clear career trajectory, exposure to international finance standards, and the chance to contribute to products that power everything from smartphones to autonomous vehicles.
