The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role is a 24‑month structured development program based in the Regional Planning department at Patancheru, Hyderabad. The program is designed to groom fresh engineering graduates into competent Regional Demand & Inventory Planners. Trainees will be immersed in real‑world supply‑chain dynamics, learning to balance demand forecasts with inventory constraints while supporting sales and operations teams. The role offers hands‑on exposure to data‑driven decision making, S&OP processes, and cross‑functional collaboration across sales, customer service, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support safety, health, and EHS initiatives alongside managers.
2. Assist sales planning through data‑driven forecasting and business insights.
3. Analyse and challenge demand forecasts to improve accuracy.
4. Manage demand variations and maintain optimal inventory levels.
5. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure product availability.
6. Contribute to S&OP processes and regional planning activities.
7. Prepare regular demand‑supply reports and dashboards.
8. Identify process improvement opportunities in the supply chain.
9. Participate in cross‑functional meetings to align demand with production capacity.
10. Gain exposure to SAP/ERP tools and advanced Excel analytics.
Tech Stack & Tools: Advanced MS Excel, SAP/ERP modules, Power BI/Tableau for visualization, basic SQL for data extraction, and statistical forecasting techniques.
Growth Path: Upon successful completion, trainees transition to a full‑time Regional Demand & Inventory Planner role, with clear pathways to senior planning, supply‑chain management, or regional operations leadership positions.
