The role of Technology Analyst – Workday Integration sits within the Employee Digital Services (DMH) team, focusing on Human Resources (HR) applications. As a product developer in the HR Integration team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering integration solutions that connect Workday with various internal and external systems. You will act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring that data flows are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. The position involves shift work aligned with European business hours, providing exposure to a global user base and cross‑regional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of integration backlog items, from concept through production release.
2. Designing, building, and maintaining inbound and outbound technical flows for Workday HR modules.
3. Conducting root‑cause analysis for integration failures and implementing corrective action plans.
4. Performing impact analysis and supporting system enhancements based on evolving requirements.
5. Monitoring daily integration runs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting campaign executions.
6. Executing non‑regression testing to ensure stability after changes.
7. Ensuring architectural compliance with the integration strategy under Tech Lead guidance.
8. Maintaining comprehensive operational and technical documentation.
9. Engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback, manage expectations, and drive continuous improvement.
10. Participating in a rotational Europe shift (13:00‑22:00 IST) to provide real‑time support to European users.
The technical stack revolves around Workday integration technologies such as EIBs, Core Connectors (PECI/WECI/CCW), Workday Studio, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON. Familiarity with micro‑services architecture, Benefit Connectors, Time & Payroll integrations, and Workday security models is essential. Candidates with Workday certification, experience building extensions on Workday Extensibility, and exposure to Agile methodologies will have an advantage.
