The Graduate Software Engineer role is a full‑time, remote position designed for recent graduates with a passion for building robust software systems. As a member of the engineering team, you will contribute to the design, development, testing and debugging of software components that span operating systems, compilers, networking utilities, databases and internet‑related tools. You will work closely with internal product teams as well as outsourced development partners, gaining exposure to end‑to‑end product lifecycles and industry‑grade development practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Write clean, maintainable code for enhancements, updates and new features across various system software modules. 2. Execute predefined test plans, log defects, and perform debugging to ensure high‑quality releases. 3. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. 5. Assist in evaluating hardware compatibility and influence hardware design decisions when required. 6. Contribute to documentation of design decisions, APIs and user guides. 7. Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing platforms. 8. Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines by writing scripts and automation tools. 9. Engage with outsourced development partners to align on architecture and delivery timelines. 10. Mentor junior interns or peers on best coding practices and debugging techniques.
