Preparation should include mock moderation exercises and clear articulation of coping strategies.

📋 About the Role
Accenture is a global professional services powerhouse that blends deep industry expertise with cutting‑edge digital, cloud and security capabilities. With more than 784,000 employees across 120+ countries, the firm helps clients reinvent their businesses through strategy, consulting, technology and operations. Accenture’s culture is built around innovation, inclusion and a relentless focus on delivering value, which has earned it repeated recognition as one of the World’s Best Workplaces. The company invests heavily in upskilling its workforce, offering certifications, learning platforms and diverse project exposure, making it an attractive destination for fresh talent looking to launch a high‑impact career.
The Trust & Safety New Associate role sits at the heart of Accenture’s commitment to creating a safe digital environment for users of its client platforms. As a member of the Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for reviewing, classifying, and, where necessary, removing user‑generated content that violates client policies. This includes analyzing text, audio, video, and profile data, escalating complex cases, and contributing to the continuous improvement of moderation guidelines. The position offers a unique blend of analytical rigor and emotional resilience, as moderators often encounter graphic or sensitive material. Accenture provides a dedicated well‑being support program to help associates manage stress and maintain mental health.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Review and moderate user‑generated content (text, images, audio, video) against client‑specific policies.
2. Classify content accurately using internal moderation tools and platforms.
3. Escalate ambiguous or high‑risk cases to senior Trust & Safety members.
4. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving policy guidelines and industry best practices.
5. Document moderation decisions and provide rationale for audit trails.
6. Participate in periodic training sessions to sharpen coping and decision‑making skills.
7. Contribute to the creation of policy documentation and FAQ resources.
8. Work in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage for global clients.
9. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams such as product, legal, and engineering.
10. Provide feedback on tool performance and suggest enhancements.
The role does not require a specific technical stack but benefits from familiarity with content‑moderation platforms, basic data analysis tools, and strong command of English (additional Indian languages are a plus). Growth paths include progression to Senior Associate, Team Lead, and eventually Manager of Trust & Safety, with opportunities to move into broader risk, compliance, or policy‑strategy functions. Joining Accenture gives you exposure to world‑class clients, a supportive learning ecosystem, and a clear trajectory for career advancement in a high‑growth, socially responsible domain.
