The role of Customer Support Associate at Bigbasket is designed for fresh graduates and BPO‑experienced candidates who can communicate fluently in English, Hindi and one regional language (Telugu, Marathi or Bengali). The associate will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolve queries related to orders, payments, deliveries, and product issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The position starts with a three‑month on‑site training period at the Ameerpet office, after which the employee can work from home with periodic on‑site days as required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Answer customer calls promptly and courteously, addressing queries about orders, refunds, and product information. 2. Maintain accurate call logs and update CRM systems with relevant customer interactions. 4. Provide feedback to the operations team on recurring issues to help improve processes. 7. Handle chat and email tickets when required, ensuring consistent service across channels. 8. Adhere to shift schedules, including rotational shifts between 6:00 AM and 11:45 PM, and be flexible for occasional weekend work. 9. Meet the minimum typing speed of 20‑25 words per minute to ensure efficient data entry. 10. Uphold Bigbasket’s brand values of empathy, accountability, and proactive problem‑solving. Tech Stack & Tools: The role primarily uses VoIP telephony platforms, CRM software (such as Freshdesk or Zendesk), Microsoft Office suite, and internal knowledge bases. While no deep technical expertise is required, familiarity with basic computer operations and typing proficiency is essential. Growth Path: Starting as an Associate, high performers can progress to Senior Customer Executive, Team Lead, and eventually Operations Manager or Quality Analyst roles.
